A Human-Centered Approach to Fundraising
$250.00

In-person workshop on November 9th from 9am - 12pm MDT. Offered by Carter Cox.

How we communicate and relate to our fellow humans – and our donors – is at the center of fundraising. As we emerge from COVID and once again engage with each other, there are myriad ways to approach communications with donors and potential donors. This 3-hour workshop will provide a framework around prepping and executing donor asks and meetings, with a focus on human connection, authentic listening, and honoring the individual(s) for each conversation.

We will discuss discovery questions to respectfully learn more and create more deep and meaningful conversations. We will also explore the different flows a meeting may take to help prepare for visits. Participants will leave this workshop with the tools and a plan to have authentic and fruitful donor interactions. In this era of fragmented communication and bite-size information sharing, we’ll explore donor communication that is rooted in connection and authenticity.

One in-person three-hour workshop. Location TBD.
